Dear 7th Grade Families,
I am finishing up this year with a read aloud of "small as an elephant" by Jennifer Richard Jacobson. This is the book I typically read before our Maine Studies Trip and then we do special activities during our trip that coincide with the book.
I decided to take students on this trip virtually this year and therefore have created special iMovies for each chapter. These chapters started last week and will finish up this week. This is, so far, the only work that I have been asking them to do last and this week which is why I did not send out a weekly progress report. Students will have a final assignment from me at the conclusion of the book on Friday and they will have the weekend and following week to complete it.
Speaking of the following week, this will be a week for students to finish up any missing assignments and no new work will be assigned. The 7th Grade Team is working on fun, daily activities for students that week.
Thank you again for all your continued support during remote teaching!!
