Meet Mrs. Cote
Welcome to 7th Grade ELA & Social Studies! I am your teacher, Mrs. Cote. This will be my fourth year teaching at Center Drive School.
I am married and have two children, Brendan (14) and Isaac (12) who are my pride and joy! I also have a little dog named Rogue who is 5 years old and earlier this year we took in Niki who is a 12 year old poodle. We love camping and kayaking every summer and this summer was no exception!
I graduated from the University of Maine, Orono in December 2016 as a nontraditional student. I earned Suma Cum Laude standing and was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society for Education. I am certified to teach K-8 and have a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations.
I look forward to another great year here at Center Drive School. I have already enjoyed meeting and connecting with students and their families and hope to continue in forging great relationships within this great community!

My Educational Philosophy
All children are capable of learning and will excel when they have the right tools, instruction, and encouragement.
They deserve a diverse classroom where everyone is accepted and respected and the environment is safe and free from prejudices.
My classroom will serve as a community where all children are welcome to be who they are and learn to work together using their strengths as individuals and as a team.
Though I am the guide in the classroom, parents/guardians are a vital part of the team to lead children towards success and deserve to be informed and collaborated with.
